Frequently Asked Questions

Online Store

You can place your order in our online store or you can email your order to info@snackalot.co.za When making use of our online store, on Checkout, you will be given a list of the products you have ordered as well as a total which excludes shipping.

Shipping

We offer the following shipping options:

  • Free Collection – Our office are located at 1692 Hermansburg Rd (Kaapschehoop Road), Stonehenge 310-Jt, Nelspruit, 1211, next door to Montana Nursery.
  • Nelspruit & White River Delivery – We also offer discounted deliveries to your door for Nelspruit and White River (the rate will be shown on the Checkout Page). Orders are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours – Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
  • Nationwide Shipping Economy – Door to door deliveries to major centers usually take 2 to 3 working days, to regional centers deliveries usually take between 3 to 5 days working days (the rate will be shown on the Checkout Page).
  • Nationwide Shipping Express – Orders placed before 10:00AM (working days) are usually delivered the next working day to your door before 11:00AM in major centers. Regional deliveries take between 24 to 48 hours (the rate will be shown on the Checkout Page).In the event of your parcel requiring a dedicated special trip to deliver the shipment, additional charges may be levied. There may also be towns with a special surcharge. Examples of special delivery areas include: Mines, Power stations, Plots, farms, remote areas, military bases, Game lodges, Port / Harbours, Embassies and Consulates. In this instance, you will be contacted prior to delivery.

Insurance up to R1000 is included in the shipping rate. Additional insurance is available at 2% of the declared value above R1000, however this needs to be pre-arranged – please Contact Us should you wish to make use of this additional insurance. A minimum excesses and Terms & Conditions apply.

On the Check Out page you will be asked for your name, contact details and delivery address. Please provide as much information as possible, in order avoid delays in your receiving of your parcel. You will also be given the option to create an account, this can be useful if you intend ordering again, as this option then allow you to logon and the system will retrieve all your relevant contact and delivery details.

Payments

We offer the following payment options:

Direct bank transfer:  This option allows you to place your order, and then make payment through your own internet banking profile. Our banking details will appear on the screen once you have selected this option, furthermore you will receive an email with your invoice attached as well as our banking details. Please ensure that you use the Order Number as your beneficiary reference when making payment, this helps ensure that there are no delay in processing your order. Please kindly email your proof of payment to accounts@snackalot.co.za

PayFast: When selecting this option you will be redirected to the PayFast website where you will be able to select from the following payment  methods:

                Debit Card or Credit Card – Master Card and Visa only.

                Instant EFT

                BitCoin

The PayFast website will prompt you for the information required to process your payment. Once your payment has been processed, you will be redirected back to the Snack Alot website, at which time you will receive a email confirming your order, as well as your invoice.

Zapper: This option will take you to the Zapper website, where you will be able to scan a QR Code using your cell phone to make your payment. Please note that you need to have a Zapper account setup in order to make use of this option. Once your payment has been processed, you will be redirected back to the Snack Alot website, at which time you will receive a email confirming your order, as well as your invoice.

Please kindly note that no goods will be dispatched until we have received confirmation from Zapper, PayFast and in the case of a Direct bank transfer; the funds are reflecting in our account.

PLEASE NOTE: For security and safety reasons we do not store any of your financial information on our site. This data is managed by either Zapper or PayFast, who are our appointed service providers for processing payments.

My Account

In the My Account section you can access the following:

  • Create an account. The advantages of creating an account include:
    • not having to enter your details and delivery address the next time you make a purchase.
    • retrieve copy invoices.
    • update your contact and delivery address details.
    • change your password.

In the event that you have forgotten your password, please make use of the Reset your password link on the logon page. You will be prompted to supply either the username or email address you supplied when creating your account. An email will then be sent to you, click on the link in the email, this will take you to the Reset Password page in your internet browser, type in and confirm your new password and click on RESET PASSWORD. You should then be able to log in with your new password.
